Stoup Brewing - Capitol Hill

Close your eyes, take a sip of this beer and you're sure to be transported to a tree-lined, sun-speckled biergarten in Munich. We honor tradition by brewing this beer using decoction mashing techniques and fermenting with a German yeast strain that imparts prominent banana and clove notes. The wheat gives this beer a crisp, slightly tart, refreshing finish.

For the first brew at our beautiful, new Capitol Hill brewery, we decided to give the Cap Hill people what they wanted. HAZY! And now it makes an appearance every year on our Cap Hill Anniversary. We added Citra, Krush and Mosaic Cryo to the whirlpool for a burst of tropical, citrus and red fruit aroma and flavors then gave even more tropical, citrus and berry aromas with Citra, Riwaka and Superdelic in the dry hop.

Our Mexican Lager is perfect for sunny days on the patio or the beach...preferably in flip flops. Since we can't guarantee sunny days in Seattle, we kept this lager light and bright and irresistibly crushable, sunshine not required. Salud!

We like to call this one Sunshine In a Glass ... or Sunshine In Your Belly because it won't stay in that glass long. Our Citra® IPA is designed to be light and bright in both color and body. Your first sniff will elicit images of tropical fruit and citrus thanks to a healthy dose of Citra® hops.

Imported German 2-row barley and Roy Farms Adeena hops give this German-style pils its crisp, clean character. Warning: this beer's subtle grain sweetness, spicy hop aroma and refreshingly dry, hop-forward finish may elicit a spontaneous Prost!

A highly drinkable, hop forward beer with a classic American Pale Ale malt bill. Heavy handed Mosaic dry hopping gives this beer a nose packed full of citrus and mango. Up front aroma, balanced bittering and a moderate body just beg for another taste...and another...and another...

Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.

You know the story. We're nostalgic for 90's Seattle when the sound of grunge music and the smells of patchouli filled the air. Sometimes we like to relive the good ole days while reveling in new trends like Hazy IPA. So we brew a batch of this beer, pack it with the brightest, berriest, peachiest, tropical fruitiest hops we can find, like Cryo POP!, El Dorado and Mosaic Cryo.

Pineapple, Guava, Passionfruit. Our rotating Sour Pop Fruited Sour series will showcase a variety of fruits in a tart and refreshing beer. We use Lachancea yeast, and exciting yeast that both produces lactic acid and ferments maltose, alongside our house ales yeast. This version is Tropical with pineapple, passionfruit and guava.

apple + pear blend 4.5% ABV. Velvety smooth and bursting with stone fruit flavor, this cider is perfect blend of apples, pears, and peaches. It's a sip of sunshine in every pint: juicy, refreshing, and packed with summer vibes. We think it's just peachy!

Lemon Selz. A tart, limoncello spritz inspired refresher with just enough sweetness to balance it all out. It's lemon. It's effervescent. It's fun!
