Students participate in our Marketing Department and send out press to San Diego and international press contacts. Students learn how to get our events out to the public and also feel the pleasure of a successful Marketing Campaign.

Students run their own Radio DJ Program, taught by Resident DJ Carlos Culture, allowing interaction with local schools.

Interns learn hands-on concert production from all angles, including promoting, sound production, lighting, administration, budgeting, and contracting.

Students learn professional design and tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.

Interns learn about web broadcast technologies and have hands-on experience with radio and TV production under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Dedicated to teaching about the role of plants in society and indigenous cultures, featuring a multi-level terraced garden of endemic and indigenous plants.

The WorldBeat Cultural Center collaborates with community organizations to provide nutrition and gardening programs in San Diego.

Our research is part of the NOISE Project, a national community science project on the effects of noise pollution funded by the National Science Foundation (DRL-1811234). WorldBeat Center is one of the four CO-PI organizations leading the research. We bring the Arts in STE(A)M!

The gardens educate students on the various aspects of agriculture and nutrition while fostering a deep understanding and respect for the earth.

Each year, WorldBeat Cultural Center serves over 6,000 children and youth teaching unity in diversity through Drumming, Dance, Organic Gardening and African History.
